About

Anatomized.org started as a personal blog back in 2007 and it eventually became a hosting and review site (a very bad one, if I may say so).

The name comes from the verb ‘anatomize’:

a·nat·o·mize  (-nt-mz)

tr.v. a·nat·o·mizeda·nat·o·miz·inga·nat·o·miz·es

1. To dissect (an animal or other organism) to study the structure and relation of the parts.
2. To analyze in minute detail: ”Pynchon is the devil who went beyond the grave to anatomize the remains of the modern soul” (Josephine Hendin).

The meaning of the word reflects what I intend to do here (plus, I’m a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan).

I stopped updating the site in late 2008 and took it offline in early 2009. I re-opened it on January 18, 2012, and I mainly use it site to practice my written English and to get it touch with anglophone bloggers.

Past themes

I haven’t got any backups from the old site, but I do have two old screenshots:
