New Year's Eve 11

My real name isn’t Nathan, I don’t even use it as a nickname anymore. Most people call me Nan, and no matter what you might think of it, it has nothing to do with old ladies or vampires.

I’m a 19-year-old male from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve been blogging since I was about 11 and messing around with websites and code since I was 13. I also run several idol-related sites and I’m in charge of Hello! Project and AKB48′s Street Teams in Argentina.

I study Sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires.
Society and culture are two things that I desperately try to understand and know better, that’s why I plan on specializing in Sociology of Culture and, once I’ve finished, in Socio-cultural Anthropology.

On my free time, I enjoy listening to music (a wide range of artists, from Japanese idols to Canadian indie pop bands – My favourite groups/bands are Morning Musume, Metric and Eisley), reading essays, hanging out with friends and riding the drama llama in both English and Spanish forums, Facebook, Twitter, shoutboxes, etc.
