I love these ‘chicks’

Apart from the thousands of annoying people yelling, work was quite alright. The two volunteers that worked with me were really nice and we succeeded expectations. Plus, the vendors from one of the stalls in my section were playing k-pop music on their laptop, so I had a great time.

My headaches are a bit better, but I’m still in pain, so I made an appointment with my physiotherapist for tomorrow. Let’s hope that will take care of them like it did a few months ago.
My doctor reminded me again that I have to get an appointment with a psychologist in order to discuss my supposedly hypochondriac episodes.

But I won’t think about that right now – today is all about this:

As you might or might not know, Morning Musume is an idol music group from Japan and it’s my favourite one. Today, their newest single, ‘PyocoPyoco Ultra’, has leaked.

Many fans have complained about this single, mainly because they think it’s extremely childish. Well, let me tell you something – Morning Musume is constantly changing. Members graduate after some years in the group and new generations are added after exhausting auditions.  The newest members (9th and 10th Generations) are very young, ranging from 12 to 16-year-old girls – it is normal for girls their age to perform a single like this.

And it is not like MoMusu has always a serious and mature group – they have changed their style countless times during their 48 singles, 13 studio albums and so on and so forth.  Besides, they are japanese idols, they have to be all cutesy.

So no matter what people say, and despite my constant headaches, I’m going to spend the whole day listening to it and it’s coupling track. Because I am that obsessed about them.

But they were crispy!

I woke up today to a terrible, terrible headache. I suffer from cervical spine rectification and muscle contractions, so I get tensional headaches every now and then. Physiotherapy usually takes care of them, but I haven’t been able to go for about a month, and now I know I really need them.

And even though I wanted to stay home and relax for the rest of the day, specially since the temperature was 35ºC/95ºF, I had already made plans with a friend of mine named Sabrina.

So I took a few ibuprofen pills and went out. We wanted to go to Wendy’s.

Wendy’s restaurants all over Argentina closed in 2000, but due to the  franchising boom that started once Starbucks came to the country circa 2008, they decided to come back. As of today, there is only one Wendy’s restaurant in Buenos Aires, which opened around two weeks ago. I’ve already gone two times, and there is always a lot of people.
Today, the waiting line was so long that many people were almost outside of the building. It was insane, so we ended up eating at Burger King.

But the interesting part about my afternoon was related to the Nantucket cookies I wrote about yesterday.
I bought another bag of what I though were Soft Baked cookies, but they turned out to be Chocolate Chunk Crispy Cookies in the wrong bag!

I was really scared at first – I though I’d purchased the wrong kind of cookies the other time, that I was supposed to bake them or something. But I checked Pepperidge’s website and I finally understood what had happened. Let me tell you something: they are both extremely good.

Tomorrow I have to go to work with these awful headaches. The event we are hosting is going to be quite big and there’s going to be a lot of noisy teenagers. I think I’ll die of an ibuprofen overdose.

ETA: I changed the site’s theme – the previous one was way too boring. I hope you like this one.
